Thank you so much for my escape from reality on a daily basis as I watch reruns on MeTv. I wish a book was out there on the series ‘hint hint’! so we could learn all the details of filming, techniques and cast. I truly regret not being able to have met the partial cast that visited my old home town of Cleveland, Tenn during a block party.

I do have the Space box that Larry owned in the series and I cringed when I saw his get flattened by a construction vehicle in one episode where the Beav and Larry skip school. I also collect children’s metal lunch boxes and I was so disappointed to learn back in the 80s that they never had one from Leave it to Beaver. I love the old billboard ads and displays from the golden years. I actually made a smaller version of the billboard from ‘In the Soup’ aprox 5′ ft x 3′ ft to hang on my wall. I usually don’t enjoy reunion shows that much but when Still the Beaver came out I was pleasantly surprised that it was very well done. Finally TBS started playing episodes in the afternoon and I was hooked from then on. Like several television dramas and sitcoms of the late 1950s and early 1960s (Lassie and My Three Sons), Leave It to Beaver is a glimpse at middle-class, American boyhood. I was around 18 at the time and even then I was a fan of older television shows. Leave It to Beaver is one of the first primetime sitcom series written from a childs point of view. As the amount of episodes in his Minecraft series increased, the interest. They had one of the characters watching the ‘In the Soup’ episode in his bedroom and I wanted to find out what this show was called after seeing that short clip. Stampylonghead (formerly known as Stampy - Lets Play) is the second channel. I had never seen LitB until I saw Fast Times at Ridgemont High at the theater. I would love someday to get to meet you in person…what a joy that would be, just to give you a big hug and thank you for everything you have done for me. I have every episode that was made, and they are priceless just as you are to me. I am a very outgoing and happy person, but whenever I may be having an “off” day, I turn on the show and it picks me right up. I am 58 now with 4 daughters, and one son, 3 grandsons and 1 grandaughter of my own, and I still keep those family values about love, honesty and the feeling that we all do belong. Even though it was a fictional family, I believe it was the way all families should have lived and cared for one another.

Your” family…and when times were tough it would do me so much good to sit and watch you and the Cleaver family.

In this episode, the family all take time to look back on the years spent together. You were so cute when you were little and even today watching the show brings lightness and content to my heart. The first toilet ever seen on a TV series was on Leave it to Beaver. I have loved “Leave it to Beaver” since I was a little girl, and I Love you, Jerry.
